Northern watersnake takes bullfrog
Northern watersnake takes bullfrog
I posted a close-up shot awhile back but never got around to posting a full view. We were told a "copperhead" was at this pond when we arrived, so we went looking for it … and it turned out to be a Northern watersnake. We would have saved the frog but it was too late. If this isn’t your cup of tea, you know I’ll be back to butterflies very soon.
Speaking of animals preying on others, yesterday I saw photos online of a python eating a crocodile. You just wouldn’t think that was possible!
